Welcome to the Finnish Society for Bioinformatics

The Finnish Society for Bioinformatics was founded to develop and maintain communication between people interested in bioinformatics and to support bioinformatics research and dissemination of its results. The society organizes seminars and training for its members. It promotes bioinformatics through a variety of activities for example by publishing, participating in organization of scientific conferences, and cooperating with other organizations in the field.

We welcome researchers, students, and others interested in the field into our activities and strive to fulfill the varied needs of our members. If you are interested in bioinformatics, come and join us for a BioBeer which takes place monthly in Helsinki and occasionally in other locations.
